Blackpool Private Landlord Forum
Blackpool’s private landlords play a vital role in the provision of housing to families and single people. 
Landlords have been working in partnership with Blackpool Council since 1998 when the Private Landlords Forum was established, and launched the Blackpool Landlord Accreditation Scheme in September 2003. The Scheme is currently under review.

The Forum meets every two months and aims to inform and assist landlords in understanding their rights, entitlements and obligations and to raise their awareness of available services and facilities. The Forum’s elected Steering Group consists of up to 10 landlords and represents and acts on behalf of the Landlords Forum.

The Council consults the Forum on policies and reports upon implications of new and proposed legislation.

Meetings are usually held on the first Thursday every other month
