Project 30
Project 30Project 30 is the name given to the our work to repair or replace our road network. It will see £30m spent over the next four years to repair or replace over 40 miles of carriageway – the equivalent distance from Blackpool Tower to Morecambe Bay.

The strategic network – those roads used by motorists as a main route between different parts of town .

Additional Emergency Winter Funding (£297,490) from the Department of Transport has been used alongside the council's Project 30 initiative to repair the following roads that were in urgent need of repair as they were in such poor condition as to present a danger to some road users:

Ansdell Road, Beech Avenue, Bloomfield Road, Central Drive, Chapel Road, Clifton Drive, Clifton Road, Egerton Road, Grange Road, Highfield Road, Hornby Road, Knowsley Avenue, Mere Road, Mowbray Drive, Mythop Road, Reads Avenue, Warley Road, Whinney Heys Road, Whinpark Avenue

Please be aware that in some areas only parts of the footway/carriageways will be resurfaced.
