Name of Road: Chapel Street (Promenade – Central Drive
Reason for Works:
Details of Works: Installation of a new 3m wide kerbed contra flow cycle lane on the north side of Chapel Street. Installation of new raised junction tables in buff coloured blockwork with appropriate signage. Removal of existing centre islands and electrical connections. Upgrade to traffic signals and junction realignment works at the junction of Chapel Street and the Promenade
Traffic Management Details if Applicable: Temporary traffic signals will be required for short periods when widening the footway on the north side of Chapel Street between Coop Street and Kay Street to create a shared use footpath. Side road closures will be required at Chapel Street junction with Bonny Street, Seasiders Way and the court entrances.

Diversion Route Details if Applicable: Appropriate signed diversion routes will be provided when temporary side road closures are in place.
