Name of Road: – CLIFTON STREET (CORPORATION STREET TO ABINGDON STREET) / ABINGDON STREET (CLIFTON STREET TO TALBOT ROAD)
Reason for Works: Change of bus route enabling works including providing two raised bus stops with passenger shelters on Clifton Street, providing an additional raised bus stop with passenger shelter on Abingdon Street, providing additional passenger shelters at two existing raised bus stops on Abingdon Street, reversal of one-way traffic flow on Clifton Street from westbound to eastbound, introduction of northbound one-way traffic flow on Abingdon Street (Clifton Street to Talbot Road), amendments to the traffic signals at Abingdon Street / Talbot Road and changes to parking, loading and disabled bays on Clifton Street and Abingdon Street
Details of Works:
Traffic Management Details if Applicable: Some elements of the works will require the full length of Clifton Street (Corporation Street to Abingdon Street) to be closed on various dates during the construction period of the works. It is anticipated that the road closures will only be in place overnight between the hours of 9pm and 5am. Dates of the road closures will be displayed on site a few days in advance.
