What can I do if I don't understand my benefit decision?
When we have worked out your benefit claim, we will send you a decision letter showing the information we have used to work out your Housing Benefit / Council Tax Reduction.
If you do not understand our benefit decision or you want to know more about benefits, please contact our Customer First Centre where our staff will be pleased to help you.
We will send you a 'Statement of Reasons' explaining how we have worked out your benefit if you ask for this.
