Arts Awards

Blackpool Arts Service delivers the Arts Award to young people across Blackpool and the Fylde Coast. The Arts Award is a national qualification which supports young people to develop as artists and arts leaders. Young people aged 11-25 can achieve an Arts Award at levels Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Under The Town - Arts Award in Blackpool

Under The Town is the Arts Award programme delivered by Blackpool Council Arts Service. It supports young people in achieving an Arts Award qualification through working with professional artists, creating and leading public events and visiting arts events and activities as a group.

Bronze Arts Award is an opportunity to learn more about the arts, take part in different arts activities and visit arts events and venues.

Silver Arts Award is for young people over the age of 14. This award is more self-directed and will focus on developing and learning more about an element of the arts which you are interested in.

Gold Arts Award is for those who have completed the Bronze and Silver with us and is an opportunity to develop your own area of interest and design and lead your own public event or activity.

Arts Award through the Arts for Health programme
