The heritage service is currently moving relocating a large collection to the local history.
This is a major work that is taking all staff time and the support of numerous volunteers. Due to this the Local and Family History Centre is closed to the public from 18 December 2017 to 31 January 2018 and will re-open to the public on Thursday 1 February 2018.
We look forward to sharing this new collection in the new year.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
