Restrictions on parking a motorhome

There are restrictions where you can park you motorhome in Blackpool

Motorhomes of all descriptions are not allowed to use any on street pay and display bays even with a blue badge and clock. This includes the Promenade, loading bays, taxi ranks and bus stops.

Princes Way

Princes Way has now re-opened to the public following the completion of the sea-wall defence project.

The area is now marked with Pay and Display bays for coaches near the southern end and all other bays are for car use.

Due to these changes, Motorhomes are no longer permitted to park in this area.

*Seasiders Way is marked with dual-purpose bays and during “Peak” visitor times (at the duty   supervisor’s discretion) the vehicle type may be set to “Cars Only” or Coaches Only”. No mixed parking is allowed. Motorhomes can use this site at the same time as Coaches.

**South car park is primarily for car use and height-barriers are in operation. Coach bays on this site will only be available during “Peak” visitor times (at the duty supervisor’s discretion) to cope with extra demand and not be available for use at any other time. Motorhomes can use this site at the same time as coaches.

 

Charges

A 12 hour motorhome tariff is now available at these sites for £10.

Over-night sleeping is allowed, but, not the use of or setting up of any outdoor equipment such as seating, washing lines, awnings etc.
