Traffic Management Details if Applicable: 1). 05.00 to 17.30 Promenade (between Station Road and Burlington Road West) also Osborne Road and Withnell Road (between the Promenade and Simpson Street), Balmoral Road and Simpson Street. 2). 12:30 to 17:30 New South Promenade (between Burlington Road West and Harrowside West) 3). Between 13:15 and 14:45 For about 15 minutes within the above times as the race enters Blackpool the Police will close the following roads:- Mythop Road, Preston New Road, Clifton Road, Ashworth Road, Progress Way, Squires Gate Lane, Starr Gate and New South Promenade (between Starr Gate and Harrowside West). The approximate time of arrival depending on conditions on the day is 14:00

Further Information: Parking restrictions No parking will be allowed along New South Promenade and the Promenade (between Squires Gate Lane and Station Road) also on Osborne Road, Withnell Road (between the Promenade and Simpson Street), Balmoral Road and Simpson Street from 16:00 on Friday evening 10th September until 18:00 on Saturday 11th. Any vehicles parked on any of these sections of roads between the times indicated may be removed. Your assistance is therefore requested in ensuring that parked vehicles are removed where necessary. No waiting cones will be placed on these roads also along Bond Street between Station Road and Balmoral Road from 16:00 on Friday 10th South Beach car park will remain open access will be via the Promenade from south of Watson Road and also via Watson Road. The Casino (Sandcastle) car park will be closed. No vehicles are allowed on the tramway or the Promenade pedestrian area west of the tramway, at any time. Access to the Pleasure Beach Balmoral Road car park will be via Bond Street only. Blackpool Transport Promenade bus service “Line 1” will be diverted between Station Road and Starr Gate.
