If you are aged 13-19, the Connexions Service (part of Blackpool Young People Services) can offer you expert information, advice, guidance and support from qualified professionals to help you make important decisions about your life.
If you are a young person with a learning difficulty or disability you can be provided with support until you are 25.
If you are aged 13-19 our service includes:- ·
- A named Personal Adviser
- Expert information, advice, guidance and support to help you make decisions about your life, education and career choices
- Access to training and employment opportunities
- Regular, updated local vacancies
- Support in applying for work and training
- CV preparation
- Information on life issues, such as health, housing, substance misuse etc.
- Referral to services who can help you with specific issues
- Short courses run to help you move on in your life

Connexions Blackpool is now part of Blackpool Young Peoples Services along with The Youth Service, The Hub, Positive Contributions, Innovate, Positive Activities, the WISH Team and Young Carers. Blackpool Young People Services works in a locality model and young people are allocated a Connexions Personal Adviser based upon where they live within Blackpool.
