Alcohol Advice and Support If you want help with your own alcohol consumption, or advice about other people's drinking please call 01253 752100 to make an appointment to see an alcohol support worker. 

If you are concerned about your drinking but don’t feel ready to tell anyone yet, don’t worry, call Drink line to get discreet advice.

Blackpool has a comprehensive action plan to reduce the harm caused by alcohol. This is to help individuals with alcohol problems, families with problem drinkers and communities with problems arising from alcohol. 

If you repeatedly find yourself worse for wear due to alcohol, consider alternating. ALTN8 promotes a simple message. Alternate drinks, days and lifestyle. ALTN 8 begins to challenge people’s routines of regular excessive drinking.

They are open at present for 5 days per week from 9am to 4.45pm. Appointments are also available on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday up to 8.30pm, closing at 9pm. Advice, information and treatment services are offered to persons who misuse alcohol, their family members, friends, partners or anyone affected by substance misuse.

BSafe Blackpool is the Blackpool Community Safety and Drugs Partnership and is committed to reducing crime, disorder and substance misuse in the town, reassuring the public through a series of innovative projects and sophisticated intelligence.
