Animal Boarding Establishment Licence (Kennels and Catteries)
Anyone wishing to run a kennel or cattery requires an annual licence from Blackpool Council. This is to ensure that the welfare of the animals is maintained to a high standard and to prevent the spread of any infectious disease. The number of dogs and cats that may be accommodated will be specified on the licence.
Submit the application form with the required fee. After the premises have been successfully inspected by a Public Protection Officer, then the licence will be issued.
