Removal of Dead Animals
Blackpool Council is responsible for the removal of dead animals (wild and domestic) from public areas and roads in the Blackpool area. If you would like to report a dead cat, dog, porpoise or other animal (including birds), please contact us by telephone on 01253 477477 or by emailing customer.first@blackpool.gov.uk with the following info: -location of the animal -brief details of the animal, such as type, size, colour -the time at which you saw the animal

We aim to respond to requests within 1 hour of them being reported to the appropriate Department.

We also work in conjunction with My Moggy.com, a locally based organisation that aims to reunite missing cats and dogs with their owners. Contact www.mymoggy.com for further details.
