Anti-Social Behaviour

Anti-Social Behaviour is criminal or any other activity which causes harassment, alarm or distress. Examples of anti-social behaviour include:
  • vandalism or graffiti;
  • racist and homophobic incidents;
  • riding mopeds/motorbikes continually late at night or in public open spaces;
  • violence or threats of violence to people or property;
  • noise nuisance;
  • improper use of fireworks;
  • abandoned vehicles;
  • uncontrolled pets;
  • persistent environmental nuisance such as fly tipping or rubbish dumping;
  • alcohol, drug or solvent abuse.
Blackpool Council's aim is to work with our partners and the Community to improve the quality of life for all our residents by creating safer environments.

We have focused our work on three key areas of prevention, enforcement and co-ordination which we believe will contribute to sustained reductions in nuisance and anti-social behaviour.

We want to make you feel safer, enabling you to live free from harassment and fear.

We want to encourage respect for the areas we live in, for families and individuals.

We cannot achieve this alone however. We will work closely with our partners and we need you to support us. We are determined as a Council to address this problem, making a real difference to the quality of life for everyone living in Blackpool.

Reporting Anti-Social Behaviour
You can report the following instances of Anti-Social Behaviour online: So that we can deal effectively with any anti-social behaviour even if it does not result in legal proceedings, it is essential that we have accurate information about what has happened and when.  Our Anti-Social Behaviour Incident Diary can be used to record what happens.
