What should I do if I find a needle or syringe?
If you find a used needle or syringe, please do not touch it. Please report it as soon as possible by ringing 01253 478456.
Always tell children not to touch needles or syringes and advise them to report it straightaway to an adult they know.
Needle Stick Injuries - If you ever get a needle-stick injury:
- do not suck the wound;
- squeeze it to make it bleed;
- rinse and dress it;
- go to Accident and Emergency immediately (within 2 hours if possible);
