We appreciate that, for various reasons, people might not be able to attend a Forum meeting, but would still like to raise an issue or ask a question.  If you would like to have your say please complete the "Have your Say" form and we will do the rest.

To find out what progress has been made on the issues raised at the Area Forum meetings look at the Issues Raised report.

Do you have a project that could benefit from some extra funding?

Each Area Panel has a £15,000 budget that can be used to supplement or fund additional work by the Council itself, work by other statutory organisations, the voluntary and community sector and individuals.

In addition, each Area Panel has a budget of £7,500 to support the Blackpool Is Getting Clean And Tidy (BIG CAT) initiative. This budget could be used to support projects to reduce anti social behaviour, the removal of graffiti, the clearance and prevention of litter and fly tipping and improved signage and information.

The Area Panel will consider proposals made by community groups, voluntary organisations and partnerships by way of completing an application form.  This can be found in the Forms section on the right or by using this link.

Do you want to become a champion for your local community?

We are looking for representatives from the local community who live within the boundary of the Area Panel to become Community Members.  You will form part of the Area Panel, along with the local Councillors and local Community Partners.  Together you will act as a body of influence with issues referred to it from the other community meetings identified (Police and Community Together, Reassurance Plus meetings, Councillor surgeries etc) and be the mechanism to make sure these issues are progressed.

If you would like more information about becoming a Community Member please contact the Democratic Services representative whose details can be found at the bottom of the page.  Alternatively, you can complete the application form that can be found in the publications section on the right.
