Where do I send the BD8 form that is issued at the death registration?
After completing the reverse of the white BD8 form, it should be sent to the appropriate office to ensure that everyone’s records are kept up to date, even if you or they are not claiming any benefits or receiving a pension.
For people who die before they are aged 60, the form should be sent to:

Alternatively, if the person who has died was receiving a State Pension or Pension Credit and you are their spouse, civil partner, partner or informal representative, you can report their death by phoning The Pension Service on 0845 60 60 265 (Textphone 0845 60 60 285).
