Child Bereavement Charity Provides specialised support, information and training to all those affected when a baby or child dies, or when a child is bereaved.
Cruse Bereavement Care The charity exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss. The organisation provides support and offers information, advice, education and training services.
The Compassionate FriendsThe Compassionate Friends (TCF) is an organisation of bereaved parents and their families offering understanding, support and encouragement to others after the death of a child or children. They also offer support, advice and information to other relatives, friends and professionals who are helping the family.
FSID - Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths A charity which aims to prevent unexpected deaths in infancy and promote infant health. FSID fulfils these aims by:
- Funding research
- Supporting families whose babies have died suddenly and unexpectedly
- Disseminating information on infant health, baby care and sudden infant deaths to health professionals and the general public
- Working with professionals to improve investigations when a baby dies
RD4U
The 'Road 4 You' is part of Cruse Bereavement Care's Youth Involvement Project , the website is for young people by young people to offer support after the death of someone close.
SANDS - Stillbirth And Neonatal Death Society Supports anyone affected by the death of a baby either during pregnancy or after the birth and promotes research to reduce the loss of babies' lives.
Samaritans
Confidential, non-judgemental emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair. Services are offered by telephone, email, letter or face-to-face.
