Do I need Building Regulations Consent?

If you require Building Regulations consent, you will have to submit an application to us. There are three different types of Building Regulations applications available, these are:

Commencement of work and the inspection process
As part of the Building Regulations process, the majority of building work must be inspected by one of our Building Control Surveyors at various stages throughout construction. The first inspection is always at commencement of work. You can arrange an inspection in the following ways:
- By phone up to 10am of the day the inspection is required will guarantee you a visit that same day. Telephone number 01253 476219 or 01253 477477
- By post using the notification forms attached to your approval or acknowledgement.
- By completing an online form
- By requesting an advance visit from your Building Control Surveyor during any previous site visit.

Searching for Applications
