Can I pay my Business Rates bill during the season?
A payment scheme is available which is aimed at helping local businesses overcome any difficulties in paying business rates during the winter months.
The usual statutory instalment scheme is for payment to be made each month from April to January every year. Under the seasonal scheme, payment can be made by Direct Debit between June and November. This means that you can defer payment until the main holiday season starts and your payments will be complete before the season ends.
It is hoped that this scheme will reduce some of the pressure on you as failure to pay your Business Rates can result in additional costs being added to your bill.
If you want to take advantage of this payment scheme, please contact our Customer First Centre who will be pleased to help you.
