Care & Repair are able to help with two different grants.  They are

• Emergency Grants
• Priority Works Grants

Emergency Grants
These are small grants to take care of problems that may be an immediate threat to life or certain risk to health. These grants do not have to be repaid.

Priority Works Grants
These are small grants to help with serious problems, which if left, would lead to an immediate threat to life or certain risk to health. These grants are repaid to the Council but no interest is charged and there are no monthly repayments. The grants are repayable (by way of a notice of registration being placed on your property at Land Registry) only when the name(s) on the title deeds change - “ disposal”.

Care & Repair have qualified technical staff who decide whether work is an emergency. Please contact us for further details.
