Extended Services
Extended services is the term used to describe the services provided in and around schools, including Children's Centres and services provided outside the school day, such as parenting support, access to specialists, and before and after school clubs.
Schools and Children's Centres work together providing extended services, to improve outcomes for children, young people and families. Some services are provided directly and others are provided by signposting.

Extended Services are for children and young people 0-19 years, their families and the wider community.
Children’s centres provide services which focus on children aged 0-13 years and their families.
