Version 2 of  the Local Safeguarding Children Procedures can now be viewed by selecting the Publications link on the right hand side of this page.   All Blackpool’s children should be safe and be able to develop to their full potential.  However, sometimes children are not safe; a child may be being abused, either by a deliberate act that causes harm to them, or by the failure of the child’s parent or carer to protect the child appropriately.
