Did you know that Blackpool Children’s Centres provide a wide range of services for you and your family? From pregnancy, through pre-school years and throughout the primary years. We can help you give your child the best start in life.
How can we help?
Blackpool Children’s Centres act as a one-stop shop for a variety of services. They are somewhere your child can make friends and learn as they play. A place you can get professional advice on health and family matters, learn about training and job opportunities or just drop in for a coffee and a chat.
The facts: Blackpool currently has 11 Children’s Centres and you can go to anyone of these for: - childcare, play and early learning - expert advice, healthcare, parenting, family support and support for children with disabilities - brushing up on your skills and learning new ones (including taking qualifications) - links to training and job opportunities - advice on budgeting and finance - activities such as Baby Massage, Parent & Toddler Groups, Messy Play Sessions and much more. - family fun and making and meeting friends
Most activities are free or there is just a small charge. There is a range of support from skilled, committed and enthusiastic staff, on hand to help you. Blackpool Children’s Centres can tell you about all services for children aged 0-13 years and their families with a special focus on young children, aged 0-5 years.

All Blackpool Children’s Centres are members of the Childcare Partners Scheme. So drop in to find out information on all childcare in your area.

Parents can get involved Children’s Centres provide regular opportunities for you and your children to share your views and ideas about the children’s centre services and activities provided across Blackpool. Here are some of the ways you can get involved - Many Children’s Centres have a suggestion box which you can use to share your thoughts. - You and your Children have to opportunity to share your views on the activities and services you have accessed through evaluation activities and/or questionnaires. - You can also chat informally about your views to the Children’s Centre Activity Workers and Outreach Workers at any time.
