FACILITIESVenue
The Town Hall is located in Talbot Square in the heart of Blackpool, just off the Promenade near North Pier in close proximity to car parking facilities. There is a disabled ramp at the side of the main steps into the Town Hall. An accessible toilet is located on the ground floor and there are Gents and Ladies toilets on the first floor of the Town Hall. Confetti may be thrown outside on the steps but not inside the building.
The Council Chamber is situated on the first floor of the Town Hall and is accessed by a grand sweeping staircase (pictured left), perfect for those special photographs. There is a lift available for people with limited mobility. It has a Hearing Loop system and can seat up to a maximum of 100 guests.
Committee Room A is located on the ground floor of the Town Hall. A Hearing Loop system can be arranged if requested. It can seat up to a maximum of 60 guests.
FlowersAt the moment we can't provide flowers for the decoration of the Council Chamber or Committee Room A, but you can have a a florist come in and arrange your flowers on the day at your own expense. However, fresh, seasonal floral arrangements adorn the Town Hall staircase, foyer and landings making a beautiful and stunning backdrop for photographs.
CateringUnfortunately we do not have the facility to provide you with a function room for your Reception, nor can we offer any catering facilities at this time.
Car ParkingA permit can be arranged for your official wedding car and driver to stay at the front of the Town Hall for the duration of the ceremony. Guests can park in a public pay-and-display Car Park in the next street if required. West Street car park can be accessed via Market Street to the right of the Town Hall. There are disabled parking bays approximately 50 yards away in Clifton Street.
Music
If you provide us with a CD of your own special music, as long as it is non-religious, we can arrange for it to be played for you at your ceremony. Alternatively, we can provide appropriate music for the occasion.

The price quoted is for the hire of the Council Chamber or Committee Room A and the services of Blackpool Registration Staff, who will assist and guide you through the day to ensure it is as stress-free and enjoyable as we can make it. The fee covers two staff: a Superintendent Registrar who will conduct and guide you through the ceremony and a Registrar who will ensure that all the legal preliminaries have taken place, will complete the marriage or civil partnership register and issue the marriage or civil partnership certificates.
You also need to add onto the ceremony fee the cost of one 'Certified Copy Certificate for a marriage or civil partnership, at time of registration.'
You can purchase additional copies of your marriage or civil partnership certificate at the time of your ceremony, but please let the Registrar know in advance if you require more than one copy. The cost of your marriage or civil partnership certificate will then rise as soon as the ceremony is over.
You can also purchase a Commemorative Certificate to mark your special day.
