Civil Partnership

You have two options of where you can hold a civil partnership ceremony within England and Wales.
  1. Any Register Office
  2. Any Approved Venue - usually a hotel.
Blackpool Register Office will play a part in your preparations if:
  • You intend to hold your ceremony in any of the venues above which are geographically situated in the Local Authority District of Blackpool, and/or
  • you live in the Local Authority District of Blackpool and you (or the address's owner) pay Council Tax to Blackpool Council.
Click on Publications to see the list of the Approved Venues for Ceremonies in Blackpool.

To arrange your civil partnership, click on The Legal Preliminaries and Arranging Your Ceremony.

Use these links to Search for a Register Office or Search for an Approved Venue for Civil Partnership outside of Blackpool but within England and Wales.
