Community Transport

In Blackpool Community Transport is provided by a dial-a-ride service called 'Rideability' which is part funded by Blackpool Council.  If you find it difficult or impossible to use conventional buses, Rideability provide a door to door transport service using lift-equipped mini buses suitable for carrying wheelchairs.

The service operates from 9.00m to 4.30pm  Monday to Saturday.

Passengers must give at least 24 hours notice when booking a journey - bookings for travel on the day cannot be accepted.

Fares are on a zonal basis, from £2.20 per journey and Blackpool residents who are holders of a national concessionary bus pass (NoWcard) can travel at half fare.

If you require further information or wish to book a journey, please telephone Rideability on 01253 293300.  bookings may be made Mon - Fri between 9.00 am and 12 noon.
