Please note: With effect from Monday 16th January 2012, Trading Standards will be moving to new offices at Progress House. Progress House is located next to the Clifton Retail Park on Clifton Road. From Monday 23rd January 2012, Blackpool residents are welcome to come in for face to face advice at Progress House or at Customer First in the Town Centre, where we have an advice surgery on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 and 1, and on Saturdays between 10 and 1. Whether it’s pre-shopping advice, information about your rights, a dispute you need assistance with or help with your Small Claims paperwork, our Trading Standards Advice team is here to help.
We offer free, impartial and expert advice to give you the facts you need to know to enable you to deal with situations confidently, or to stand your ground against unscrupulous traders. We may also be able to offer you mediation in cases of dispute, with the aim of resolving matters quickly, fairly and amicably. We are open Monday to Friday, with advice sessions available between 10 and 1 on Saturday at Customer First.
