Why have you sent me a Council Tax bill to pay when I am on Income Support?
If you have sent in your application form for Council Tax Reduction and you are of working age from 1st April 2013 you will have an amount of Council Tax to pay. If you are having difficulty in meeting the monthly payments please contact our Customer First Centre and speak to one of our advisors to discuss your payment options.
Payment by 12 monthly instalments
You may now choose to pay your Council Tax in 12 monthly instalments instead of 10. If you wish to do this you must contact the Council on 01253 478741 by 14th April 2013 to allow us to amend your bill.
