What should I do if non-priority creditors are telephoning me demanding payment?
Tell any non-priority creditors that you will be taking advice and if necessary will make a small token monthly payment (£1 is suggested if you can't afford any more).
Don't let their threats intimidate you or their demands worry you. Your adviser will contact them after your appointment.
If telephone calls from any one company become excessive, keep a log of times and dates and inform your advice worker.
