What should I do if the Debt Advisor can't see me for several weeks?

While you are waiting for a debt advice appointment it is important that you pay what you can to your priority creditors.

If this leaves nothing for non-priority creditors then they will have to wait. You could write to each creditor telling them about your appointment and that you are having difficulties paying. This may not seem to make any difference but companies like to know that you are getting help and are not ignoring them.
