Creditor letters can be worrying and quite intimidating. The debt advisor will inform you exactly what powers your creditors have, and what action can (or cannot) be taken against you. This can relieve some of the worry and anxiety caused by receipt of these letters.
In many cases, a debt advisor can contact creditors on your behalf or put you in touch with someone else who can do this for you.
