If I go to work abroad and take my dog, will it have to go into quarantine when I return?
No. Under the
Pet Travel Scheme your dog can re-enter the UK without quarantine provided he is micro-chipped, vaccinated against rabies, blood tested and treated for tick and tapeworm in accordance with the scheme.
