Donated Bench Scheme

Donated Bench Scheme Blackpool Council provides a service to the public of installing donated benches in their parks. The type of bench provided is restricted to two designs as follows:

Stanley Park – New Lion Head – cast iron ends with wooden slats. A design introduced in the 1920’s which fits well as part of the park’s heritage, the cast iron ends include Council crest and hardwood slats. The cost for this bench is £722.00 (1,800 mm size) and £920.50 (2,200 mm size) - price includes delivery to site and installation.

Other Parks – OE seat, black, all metal 1500mm. The ends are put through a toughening process to help prevent damage. The cost for this bench is £782.00 - price includes delivery to site and installation.

A plaque if desired will cost an additional £22.00, with a limit of 50 characters.
