Drainage Help and Advice

Drainage Help and Advice Environmental Protection Service will carry out investigations relating to any drainage problems that you may experience and provide advice as part of its Public Health duties.

Furthermore, if it is found that the problems relate to blocked drains, then Blackpool Council’s Street Scene Team will be able to provide you with a professional drainage unblocking service at highly competitive rates.

Unblocking a private drain / sewer
If you would like Blackpool Council's Street Scene team to unblock your drain, please contact the Council's Customer First centre on 01253 477477.

Alternatively, you can email customer.first@blackpool.gov.uk or visit our Customer First Centre at the Municipal Buildings on Corporation Street, Blackpool.

Payment can be made over the phone via Customer First or through contacting Street Scene directly; however, payment over the phone is preferred as this will speed up the time taken to unblock your drains.
