The Prime Minister has announced that the Parliamentary (General) Election will take place on Thursday 6 May 2010. Please note there are no Local Elections in Blackpool this year, these will take place in May 2011.

Poll CardsPoll cards have been delivered to residents across Blackpool starting 9th April 2010.
Postal VotesThe deadline for receipt of postal vote applications was Tuesday 20th April 2010. Postal vote packs will be distributed from Monday 26th April. Residents should contact the Elections office on 477123/ 477153 if their postal ballot pack has not arrived by 28th April 2010.
RegistrationThe deadline for registrations to vote in respect of the forthcoming Parliamentary Election was Tuesday 20th April 2010.
Proxy VoteThe deadline for registrations to vote by proxy is 5pm on 27th April 2010. Please contact the Elections office for more information.
