Elections - Proxy Votes

A proxy vote enables the elector to appoint a person to vote on their behalf. The appointed person can vote on your behalf in either of two ways; going to the polling station or by post.

To vote by proxy you must complete an application form which can be obtained by contacting the Elections Office (see contact details on the right) and return to us by post.

When you apply for a proxy vote you must state the reason why you are unable to vote in person.

Please note that we can only accept forms electronically that have been signed by hand. To do this you must have access to a scanner.
