Registration of Food Businesses
All premises that serve or sell food or drink must register as a food business.
Registration of food businesses is required by Regulation (EC) No 852/2004. You should register with your local authority 28 days prior to trading. Failure to register or providing false information is an offence.Mobile stalls or vehicles should be registered with the local authority where the vehicle is stored overnight.
You can complete and submit the 'Application for the Registration of a Food Business Establishment' online here or you can print the form off and return it to us.
Registration cannot be refused and there is no charge.
Blackpool Council will use the information on its food business register, a summary of which will be available for public inspection upon request.
Once you have registered with the Council you will need to notify us of any change in ownership or other significant changes.
