Funeral - Records

Burial & Cremation Records
The burial records for Carleton and Layton Cemeteries are held with the cremation records at the Lodge House, Carleton Crematorium & Cemetery.

Carleton Cemetery is located on Stock Road, Blackpool. Access is by foot except where a blue badge is displayed. Car parking is outside the main gate.

Layton Cemetery is situated between Talbot Road and Mansfield Road, Layton, Blackpool. Access is by foot from either end of the cemetery or by car when the blue badge is being displayed.

If you wish to find any information from the records please contact the Cemeteries & Crematorium Office. In order to access the records we require the full name and the date of death of the person.

If you do not have this information then complete the form from the link below and return it to the Crematorium Office at the address below with the appropriate fee. A search of the registers can then be undertaken.

We will then inform you if the person was cremated and what subsequently happen to the remains or if the person was buried which Cemetery, Section and Grave number of where they are buried will be provided.

If you are investigating your family tree and wish us to look up several names; there can be a charge even if you have the name and date of death. Please contact the Cemeteries office to find out more details.
