What are the proposals for Betting under the Gambling Act 2005?
The Gambling Commission will licence betting operators who must hold a Personal Licence, and the Council as the Local Authority will licence the premises, which those operators use.
Betting premises may have up to 4 gaming machines of category B2, B3, B4, C or D. No children or young persons under the age of 18 are allowed in betting premises.
