Highway Licences

Blackpool Council Transportation Department issues licences to place the following on the Public Highway:

Builders Skips
Scaffolds
Hoardings
Mobile Working Platforms
Builders Materials
Street Cafe Licences

It is important that before filling out an application form you read the
Policy for Street Café Licences provided below

We are currently working on a Web-based program that will allow Registered Companies to apply for these licences online.

Blackpool Council issues these licences under powers laid out in the Highways Act 1980 whilst giving due regard to the requirements of other legislation such as the Traffic Management Act 2004.
