If I agree to mediation but my parents do not/or they agree to mediation and I don’t, what happens?

Mediation can only be conducted if both the young person and their parents are willing to engage in the mediation process. Mediation is a voluntary process. If one party will not agree to mediate then the young person may have to remain at home, or in some cases alternative housing options can be explored
