Assisted Waste Collections
For the majority of people, a wheeled bin is easy to move even when it's full. However, we understand that not everyone is able to move wheeled bins / bags ready for collection. Therefore, Blackpool Council offers an assisted collection service to help those who may struggle moving their bins.
In cases where disabled or elderly residents live with an able-bodied person, we are not able to provide extra assistance unless you tell us about your special circumstances.
If you feel you need an assisted collection, you can ring one of our Customer First advisors who will arrange to issue a form.
