What do I need to do about my benefit if I am moving house?
If you move address and currently receive Housing Benefit you need to inform us as soon as possible even if you are moving from one flat to another in the same building.
You can telephone the Benefits line on
01253 478847 to report your change of address and one of our Benefit Assessors will advise you what needs ro be done next. In order to complete the change of address we will need to see proof of your rent ie a rent book or a copy of your new tenancy agreement.
