Fuel Debt Help
GRANTS FROM TRUSTS & CHARITIES
Individual consumers
may qualify for grants to pay off fuel debts or make their home cheaper to run from a range of trusts and charities. You can find directories in your local library which list all the relevant trusts that can help individuals. The most comprehensive is published by the Directory of Social Change. Help may also be available from occupation pension funds, trade unions and services charities.
ENERGY TRUSTS
At the moment only British Gas and EDF have created such funds. For consumers who are supplied by

these companies and have, for whatever reasons accrued a debt that they cannot pay, the trust funds can offer excellent support.
(Note: Suppliers are updating their services all the time, therefore it is advisable to check with your supplier anyway)
