The Home CompostingBenefits of Home Composting

  • About one third of your household rubbish could be composted, reducing the amount of rubbish stored in your grey bin.
  • You can make your own 'soil enriching' compost, which is perfect for vegetable patches, house plants, hanging baskets as well as being a great boost to  your general garden soil.
  • You'd be doing your bit for the environment, reducing the amount of waste ending up in landfill


    If you are unable to compost at home but still want to help your local environment why not buy compost from Bristol Avenue HWRC.
