Leaving Care Service Civic Awards
The Leaving Care Service Civic Awards are an annual ceremony that celebrates the achievement of young people leaving the care of Blackpool Council.
The awards recognise outstanding progress made throughout the last year for:
· education
· training
· employment
· personal achievement
Certificates and prizes are awarded in various categories and guest presenters give out awards. The event is a way of rewarding young people for their hard work and determination to succeed.
The ceremony is held on an evening in either November or December. |
