The Blackpool Core Strategy is at its first stage – Issues and Options – and will have major implications for Blackpool’s future development. It sets out for consultation the key strategic development choices which face the town – it is about where and how to meet Blackpool’s future housing, town centre, resort and other development needs for the next 20 years and beyond. Formal consultation on the document will take place in Summer 2008.
