Navajo Charter Mark
The staff at Blackpool Register Office is committed to providing a first class service to the whole community. In May 2006 we were awarded the Navajo Charter Mark in recognition of progress towards providing a Lesbian, Gay and Bisexual friendly service.
A Charter Marked organisation agrees to:
- A fair and equal service to lesbian, gay and bisexual people
- Provide equality of employment to lesbian, gay and bisexual staff
- Refer lesbian, gay and bisexual people, including staff, to other services if appropriate
- Work with other organisations to ensure a high quality of service and employment for lesbian, gay and bisexual people.
