Masterplan

Masterplan The Blackpool resort Masterplan is a vision for Blackpool's future.  It is a vision that will see the town embark on a programme of major developments that will transform the resort physically and in spirit and create a year-round entertainment destination of national and international significance.

The Masterplan was put together to inspire local residents, businesses and Blackpool's visitors and encourage potential partners and investors to give focus and drive to the agenda for change.

The Masterplan will transform the resort making the most of its iconic status and already first class attractions and will propel Blackpool's offerings even further making sure that we are an international destination to rival all.

Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre EDC is tasked with driving forward the Masterplan vision.   Whilst Blackpool, Fylde and Wyre EDC is a separate company limited by guarantee, it works very closely with the Council on key projects. 

The strategic projects currently being processed are:

Talbot Gateway
Promenade Headlands
Conference & Leisure Quarter

In support of the Master Plan, the Council is currently working towards the production of the Blackpool Town Centre Strategy.
